Place is awesome. Reasonable prices don't listen to the nerds who came from Manhattan to spend the weekend out on the north fork. They're not only wrong but they are also cowards. Grateful deli is a staple of the north fork and those weekend warriors are controlled operatives. 10/10
Staff is really nice and the food has always been spot on. To the mope (Jim) who's whining about them asking you to spend 10 bucks for a debit card just doesn't understand how debit works and should get a grip. I'm sure people really love being around you.
What an awesome spot for deli sandwiches. The hero bread is really good and the sandwich options to fill them with are abundant. We tried the Italian combo and the chicken cutlet melt. Both awesome. Also got an oversized homemade brownie which was lights out. We're only here for the weekend but I'd happily come back next time in town. They have coffee and breakfast options as well including breakfast sandwiches on hard rolls which is my favorite. The prices are also super low ($10~ sandwich) relative to everything else in town. A great find.

When I woke up early in Cutchogue, visiting my mom for a few days, The Grateful Deli in Southold first came to mind and COFFEE! Lol I ordered a B&E breakfast sandwich and a apple turnover, both were delish! Service was quick, Staff and customers were all so friendly and cheerful! I wound up going back for lunch with my mom and then again after that, "Third Time's The Charm," for another coffee and a Chocolate Brownie with Walnuts that was to die for! Can't wait to venture back out to Southold and get out of the City, to see my new found family! Lol Cheers!
